Since I didn't upload my pictures in the right order, we are going to pretend like I am Ace Ventura and you need the "fast forward" version of our weekend. As if you really are wondering about our weekend anyway. But, you know...
First of all, my birthday was on Sunday. ::insert guilt for not calling me/emailing me/texting me:: ha. So, my sweet husband woke me up to a nice breakfast of bacon, cereal, and a mini bagel. I think he was grateful that I slept in until 10:30am so that he could keep sleeping. :-) And then, I might get struck by lightning for saying this: but, birthdays just shouldn't be on Sundays. I mean, it was great to go church and have all of the cute Young Women tell me "Happy Birthday", but really after Church, you can't go hog-wild on the partying. You gotta' keep it low key. And THAT is exactly what we did.
Then I got to open my presents. Brandon is sooo cute, he pays attention to the little things that I say that I need like, athletic socks for the gym and a paper shredder for ALL of the papers I want to throw away of ours. (And of course, a big bag of peanut M&M's). And then, the big present: a really nice, cute (not-too-expensive) purse he won on eBay. He was so excited to give it to me, but then when it came in the mail it smelt so much like cigarette smoke! So, he tried all day to get the smell out. It is a leather purse...and he put it through the wash...and let's just say...it definitely didn't get the smell out. YUCK! So, the wonderful husband of mine spent all day shopping for another cute white purse. But he couldn't find one. So...he gave me a gift certificate to buy myself a new purse. :-) So cute.
Saturday was a long, eventful day. If you remember on this post, I have a brother-in-law that was the child star in "Troll 2". Well, they had a big cast reunion in Morgan UT and we went back. Let me just say that I really can NOT understand how some people have seen this movie over 200 times. I have seen it 5 times...and that should be quite enough. But, luckily...it is going big...which is helping Mike out with his documentary.
Then we were off to Lagoon for a few hours of Amusement Park rides. Thanks to Kimberly, we got tickets for $5 through America First AND we got free dinner. Awesome. It's crazy though, I feel like every year I go to Lagoon, I realize how old I am getting. Even after two rides, I was tired and I had a headache. Sad.
Friday night I surprised Brandon with Tim McGraw tickets. So we headed up to USANA for the big concert. Luckily, most people who like Tim McGraw also like Beer...so that made the pre-show entertaining. We had a family of 5 in front of us...and I think the Dad drank one beer for every person in his family. He was trashed. BUT, it made for a fun time for us. He would randomly yell, "Tim! Tim!" and then stop...DURING the songs. AND, he sang every song regardless of if he knew the songs or not. I think to compensate for knowing the songs, he would use his hands. He was punching the air like Muhammad Ali in 1972! It was awesome.
Needless to say, Tim McGraw, hands down, is the BEST performer ever. I think it's because every song of his I knew...he has SOO many Great Hits! It was awesome.

Fun week! I'm jealous of your Tim McGraw night... but clearly I didn't even realize he was in town. So that'll tell you I'm not what you'd consider an avid fan. Or a listener of KKAT.
That's so funny that you have a familial connection to the Trolls movie :). I noticed it in the paper, I had a coworker say he might go to it... I'll admit I started getting curious. I hope it was fun!
Oh, also. Happy Birthday! Sorry I didn't know. You should have thrown yourself a surpies party. Then I would have known for sure.
ha ha, I love the exhibits.
Yay, now you are all caught up! Which means next we blog about...Scofield (not Michael), Rodeo, Park city...and whatever fun adventures we have going on this weekend!

Happy Birthday! I'm glad that you had a delightful weekend of birthday fun.
I don't know what Troll 2 is, but I'm telling everyone I know that I know the sister-in-law of the star.
What an amazing weekend! I feel like an idiot though because I was driving home from work today feeling like I missed someone's birthday and I was going through all of my family in my head trying to figure it out and then I got home and checked your blog.
