Giving Thanks

Remember how in my last post, I had this *sigh* of relief for the fact that I was all caught up blogging, for Thanksgiving? Silly, foolish me. I don't know about you, but I feel like me and the blog have gotten over our Honeymoon phase. The first few blog posts, I was so excited...checking my blog everyday to see if I had a new comment...blogging weekly about some great story. But now, the excitement has worn off. Anybody have any ideas on how to get the "spark" back between the blog and me?

Enough boo-hooing.

Thanksgiving was great this year. My mom's entire family came out for my cousin's wedding, so we had a big brouhaha on Wednesday night. My mom is quite the party planner, and she rented out a reception hall for the party. She went out and bought a Wii and the American Idol game JUST for the party. SEriously...she knows how to throw a party.
Grateful for this Hunk
Rebecca and Keith...the blogger and photographer

My H.O.T. mom and my H.O.T. aunts. Seriously..hoping I look as good as these 50 somethings when I'm their age.

K-Sis and Timbo (F.Y.I. they are expecting a little baby in May!)

The whole clan

Thanks for the pictures again, Becca.

On Thursday we had Thanksgiving with Brandon's family at his GrandDad's...but, since I didn't take my camera I will have to rely on some other family member to post pictures...and then I will steal them off of their blog :-)

So many things to be grateful for: Brandon, my family, in-law family whom I love and have relationships with, my health, our friends, our home, secure jobs, education, family, Brandon and especially our faith.

I absolutely love this time of year. December is my favorite. Especially since it hasn't snowed yet. Thank you Mother nature.

Blog love comes and goes for most. I do it as if it were a journal (I hope to one day get caught up in my scrapbook and when I do my blog will be a great help).

Sounds like you had a great Thanksgiving! Hope you are doing well. Welcome back (hopefully).

Looks like I missed out on quite a party!! That's one reason I hate living so far away! We should be up for Christmas. Hopefully we will get to see everyone!! You need to get the spark back! Everyone loves reading your blog!!

Oh, the honeymoon phase, loved that stage. To keep the love alive...you should do things for eachother...like you write on your blog, your blog is happy, people comment and so in return you are happy. Wondering why I have such good advice? Well, my major is MFHD :)

You make me laugh, I too am grateful to mother nature for no snow, what a motherly thing for her to do.

And PS...can we play soon?

... by remembering that you don't blog for YOU ... that you blog for me ... Err, I mean other people in general ... that some people might come to your blog every single day, *hoping* this wil be the day you updated ... *Hoping* that this will be the day they don't poke their eyeballs out due to boredom at work. *Hoping* this will be the day they get a litte Ero fix. Ya know? ;)

I was going to come and post a comment that I left on Adam Ruri's blog today, "Update or die." But, I didn't have to. GOOD JOB. :)

Renewing your love for your blog huh? Well, I personally think you should take more pictures and maybe even make some videos! I keep taking pictures "just for my blog" and now I'm thinking about getting a video camera so I can edit cool videos for it. SO nerdy.

About the Christmas tree, yeah I didn't have an "actual" christmas tree. Since we lived in an apartment for so long my mom and I got a very mini tree and made ornaments with the names of our family in Peru. That was as close as we got.

Oh Erica, I have so many funny memories with you. Do you still talk to Laura? If so, how is she doing and what is she doing? Do you remember my scrapbook when we would write like "life" chapters at the end of it? HA HA HA.

I feel ya about the "honeymoon stage" thing... but you just got to keep it up... I love knowing what you are up to. It's my only window inside your world, so if anything, just do it for me :)
